		<description>I had a look at homebrew: looks very nice and definitely gets around this issue. Saying that, I really don&#039;t mind MacPorts and haven&#039;t really had any problems with. Thanks for the tip though! I will update the post to add this and another simple way I found which gets around the symlinking: just update the PATH environment variable. :-)</description>
